This sketch was my first attempt at imagining a glass version of the rocket-style lava lamp. I wanted to keep the fun, energetic rocket shape from the electric models, but rethink it as a tea-light-powered design. So I mocked up this concept: a small glass “rocket body” with the wax inside, sitting on curved metal legs, with space underneath to hold a candle. It was basically my way of figuring out whether the rocket look could work in glass without feeling bulky or gimmicky.
